What Is the Process to Check the DU-JAT Result?

With the expansion of India’s business and commercial activities, the demand for qualified people is on the rise. The Delhi University (DU) offers several undergraduate management-related courses. Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and BA-Honours in Business Economics.

To join, one has to take the DU-JAT exam, the entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Aspiring candidates have to register for this online test as per the notification of the NTA. The registration process includes mentioning the choice of college/course in order of preference.

The Process to Check DU JAT Result

You can check your DU JAT Result in four simple steps:

Step 1) Visit the official website of DU (www.du.ac.in)

Step 2) Select the Result menu, and click on DU-JAT (for BMS /BBA)

Step 3) Once the login page opens, enter your Registration number and Date of Birth

Step 4) your scorecard will appear on the screen. You can download and print.

DU JAT Selection Procedure

The University releases cut-off marks for each college and course. In addition, the cut-offs are given separately for general and various reserved categories mentioned in the applicable prospectus.

Counseling of candidates happens as per the cut-off/merit rank of the candidate. Usually, two/three rounds of cut-offs are announced, depending on the college-wise, course-wise vacancy position during counseling.

Each college prepares a final merit list after counseling based on the marks obtained by a candidate in the JAT (65% weightage) and the higher secondary (12th) board examinations (35%).

  1. Understand the exam pattern- study the previous few years’ questions.
  2. Work out a strategy. The exam tests your accuracy and quick thinking ability.
  3. Be clear on the basic concepts in maths and English.
